I was down in Tucson and I had a cold so I bought some hot spicy V-8 Juice and orange juice to get some vitamin C for a cold I had.
Seeing the hot spicy V-8 Juice and orange juice side by side the idea hit me, make hot spicy orange juice. For this recipe mix about an ounce or two of Cholula Hot Sauce for each 8 ounces of orange juice. The food I eat tends to be on the very spicy side so you may want to start out with much less hot sauce. You can probably use any type of chili sauce to spice up the orange juice. I just use Cholula because I Iike it. I would stay away from any hot sauce that has vinegar in it like Tabasco Sauce because vinegar and orange juice sounds horrible to me. |
